Recycling Avenue offers technical consulting services in the field of plastic recycling. Our services comprise process design and testing of sorting plants and washing lines, improvement and optimization of existing recycling plants, technical due diligence as well as sample analysis. In addition, we consult on the sourcing of plastic waste and target markets for recycled plastics.
Our main expertise lies in solvent-based and mechanical recycling (sorting and washing lines and compounding).
High-quality recycled plastics for closed-loop applications
We will supply recycled ABS and HIPS of near-virgin quality for closed-loop applications in, e.g., electrical devices and the automotive sector. We will offer these products as soon as our solvent-based recycling plant becomes operational, which is expected in 2022.

Solvent-based recycling is also often referred to as solvent-based purification, in which the plastic material is dissolved in a solvent. The obtained solution is then purified to remove different kinds contaminants. Subsequently, the pure polymer is recovered by removing solvent.
In closed-loop recycling, the material of a given end-of-life (EoL) product is recycled and used to produce the same type of product, e.g., PET from EoL bottle to new bottle, or PVC from EoL cable to new cable.
